COVID-19 Relief Report of Edufun Foundation Trust

President’s Message

“With the lockdown Edufun Foundation Trust stood up with patients admitted in hospital and their relatives, hospital staffs, quarantined people by government, the families of daily wagers, migrant workers and others with less sources of income and was struggling for survival. In rural /urban areas of Dhanera the farmers were left out with no source of income as the market closed down and they were not able to sell their Kharif crops and the earning members returned from cities and the cash income stopped. So KhichadiGhar and AkshayRath managed by Edufun Foundation Trust had provided Hot Prepared Food and Ration Kit from 22nd March, 2020 to 17th May, 2020.

Many tribal families were without food and many families who got stuck in the cities needed support. Edufun Foundation Trust extended helping hand to the migrants, marginalized groups such as elderly, single women, and people who were facing miseries and difficulties.

Water crisis in summers in the Zalar Kachaba Lake at Rampura Chhota Village of Dhanera there was no water in lake so more than 6000 turtle lives were in trouble so Edufun Foundation Trust with help of sawmills association and Ganesh mandap poured water by tankers from 1st May 2020 to 1st July 2020. Thanks to friends, family and individuals, corporate and institutional donors for supporting us emotionally and monetarily and Edufun Foundation Trust’s front line team real corona warriors for all the action.
