Overview

Edufun Foundation Trust, founded on 24 April 2014 under the leadership of Mr. Paras Soni, is a grassroots-driven nonprofit committed to creating sustainable social change in India. The Trust works to empower economically weaker and socially marginalized communities by enabling people to learn, lead, and thrive. With education at the core, Edufun Foundation actively works in the areas of primary education, hunger relief, medical awareness, women empowerment and safety, environmental conservation, skill development, disaster response, and animal welfare. We believe that strong educational foundations in villages are the key to breaking the cycle of poverty and building future innovators. What began with a small group of dedicated social workers has grown into a strong team of nearly 100 members and volunteers, driven by commitment, adaptability, and a results oriented approach.

Edufun Foundation Trust is a legally registered organization under the Societies Registration Act, 1860 and Bombay Public Trust Act, 1950, holding 12AA, 80G, and FCRA registrations. The Trust has also been granted   Special Consultative Status with the United Nations Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC)  , strengthening its role in global policy dialogue and sustainable development efforts.

Currently working across Gujarat, Maharashtra, Rajasthan, and Bihar, Edufun Foundation envisions Indian villages known for opportunity, innovation, and empowered children—not poverty. Our programs are consciously designed to build strong foundations for the Alpha Generation at the village level, ensuring lasting and meaningful impact.

Message from President

Sustainable development across every sector is not just a choice—it is the need of the hour. Human life is deeply connected to nature, and when we protect our ecosystem, we protect our own future. At Edufun Foundation, we work with this belief at heart. Our efforts focus on addressing environmental challenges, poverty, hunger, food waste, women empowerment, animal rescue, and the protection of endangered species, particularly in the Banaskantha district. Each initiative is a step toward building a more balanced, compassionate, and resilient society.

Our journey has been made meaningful by the trust and support of local communities, donors, and selfless volunteers, who give us the strength to move forward. Today, we are actively running six ongoing projects, supported entirely by individual donations. Since our registration as a Public Trust in 2014, we have consistently launched new projects and awareness programs every year, responding to the evolving needs of the people we serve. We feel deeply honored to have stood with the people of Dhanera during the most challenging times, including the COVID-19 pandemic and natural calamities. These moments reaffirmed our purpose—to serve with empathy, integrity, and commitment. As we look ahead, we promise to remain a true bridge between donors and beneficiaries, ensuring transparency, dignity, and impact in every action we take. Together, we will continue to nurture hope, strengthen communities, and contribute to the sustainable development of this region.
