It is an initiative of the National Commission for Women, Government of India. Women are a powerhouse. To make them realize their strength, we organized a seminar and rally of 850 girls and women. Girls wore fancy dresses to showcase great women of India. Girls got a new hope for their future through this program.
(C) Marvel Women Award
On 8th March, International Women’s Day, we awarded 22 women of different age groups, who have shown unique qualities in their respective fields. Those talented women of Dhanera, inspired school and college girls to be independent and successful in life.
(D) Gender based violence (GBV)
We have organized elocution competitions in schools on Gender based violence topics. Dhanera has a low literacy rate. Women are financially dependent and male dominance cannot be resisted. New generation should be aware of the importance of financial independence, girls’ education, and equal rights for men and women. Consequently, domestic violence can be reduced.
